I am so excited, I can hardly type! My tenth Kimani Romance, Escape to Paradise, was released yesterday, and wonderful reviews are pouring in. In a funny twist of great news, I also received several emails yesterday from readers who just finished devouring, Promises We Make. It seems Damien Hunter has a passionate fan base, and women from the U.S. to London are scouring the streets for their own Damien Hunter! Love it!!!

Here is what readers are saying about, Escape to Paradise,

Pamela Yaye has done it again. Once again she has had me intrigued from start to finish to see what will happen to the hero and heroine. There are some steamy scenes and lots of humor. I thoroughly enjoyed this read, can’t wait until the next book by Ms. Yaye!

…I always enjoy books that take me to explore other countries and cultures and this one didn’t disappoint.

Their are some sexy scenes, some laughter. I enjoyed the book very much.

Pamela Yaye proves again why she is an great author.

Did I mention it is my TENTH Kimani romance? I can’t believe it. I am just so honored to be writing for Kimani, and love working with a team that is supportive, and appreciates my work and commitment. This is just the beginning, ya’ll. More steamy, breath-taking books are a comin’!!! To celebrate my tenth Kimani romance, 22 loyal readers received gift packages filled with books and chocolate on Friday. Enjoy everyone!

With love,

This has been a fun, but incredibly busy month, and there are still two weeks to go! I taught a romance workshop last Saturday, entitled, “He Kissed Her And Then What…” and had a blast doing it. The students were keen, and enthusiastic and we all go along so well it felt like I was spending the day with a bunch of writer friends. Next up, is a CBC radio interview with the refreshing, incredibly witty, Shelagh Rodgers, the host of The Next Chapter. More details to follow. I promise.

On the writing front, I am burning up the pages of my next Kimani Romance, Evidence of Desire, which will be released in the fall of 2012. It’s a Law firm series that I am doing with two other fabulous Kimani authors, Ann Christopher, and Jacquelin Thomas, and as soon as my editor sends me the cover, I will past it on to you. For those of you wanting to know more about the books in the Bandit Creek series, I have posted the link below. You can read excerpts of each book, interviews, and get a sneak peak of what’s coming next. http://banditcreekbooks.com/

To say this month has been busy is an understatement! I have had very little “me time”, (Tina Fey has hilarious tips in her memoir ‘Bossy Pants’ about how moms can steal some “alone time”. A must read!!!) but that is all about to change in December. I love the Christmas holidays, and it’s my favorite time of year, so I kept my schedule light, and left lots of room for baking with the kids, playing in the snow, and hosting friends and family. Until next time…

Stay blessed!

Good day, Romance Readers!

Today is the release of, Siren’s Song (Romance) , by D.L. Snow, a proud member of the Bandit Creek Family!!! I am off to buy my copy, but were is the story blurb down below for your reading pleasure:

After giving up fame, Joss Jones just wants a normal life. Maybe she’ll find it in Bandit Creek. Or…maybe not. From the moment she moves into the old mansion she inherited, she’s stalked by a ghost who enjoys tormenting her before dragging her back in time to Bandit Creek, 1899. Has she gone crazy or is this old mining town, full of saloons, gambling, whoring and fortune seekers her new reality? It feels real enough as does the ghost who brought her here. His name is Morgan Hawes and he’s a living breathing human being who is very much alive. Is Morgan Hawes the key to Joss finding her way home or is Joss stuck for the rest of her life as the Siren of Bandit Creek?

If not for a loyal reader bringing it to my attention that I haven’t posted for awhile, I would have let the whole summer pass by without checking in. Naughty, naughty me! Sorry folks. Between my kids, my family, writing, working, church and exercising my butt off, I hardly have a minute to myself. It’s all good though. Life is good. I can’t complain. Here’s a short recap of what your favorite romance writer around these parts has been doing:

(March) Handed in, ESCAPE TO PARADISE, (on-time thank you very much! I hate waking up at the crack of dawn, but it had to be done, and I am proud to say I made my deadline. I’m 10 for 10 now!!!)

(April) Submitted the proposal for book 11, tentatively titled, PASSION BY THE BOOK. The honeymoon’s over, the passion’s fizzled, and Simone and Marcus Young don’t know how to get their marriage back on track. But when Simone comes across a salacious relationship book that guarantees fast results, she scoops up a copy, and makes a beeline for the cash register. Marcus better watch out because his wife is on a mission–to romance and seduce!

(May) I celebrated my birthday. No party, no cake, no fan fare. Just a GREAT DAY spent with the people I love the most!

(June) Two more pieces of wonderful news: My proposal for, PASSION BY THE BOOK, is approved, AND my lovely editor sent me the new cover for, ESCAPE TO PARADISE. Do you LOVE it as much as I do?

(July) Our family welcomes two international students from Taiwan into our home. Over the weeks, we go for long walks, bake together, attend church, go shopping, to the movies, dance around the kitchen while I make dinner, go to the gym, check out Stampede, hang out on the deck listening to Adele (they love her just as much as I do! Yay!!!), and all in all have a fabulous time together. I don’t want them to go. We’re having too much fun. I am really going to miss them!

Now, I really have to go. We’re throwing a party for the kid’s birthday on Saturday, and I have much to do. I finalized the menu, but my daughter just told me I need to add some more of her favorite foods. Sheesh!

The response to, PROMISES WE MAKE, has been overwhelming. Readers have been blowing up my email, reaching out on Facebook, posting reviews on on-line sites and I LOVE IT!!! It’s a great feeling to know that people are not only enjoying my work, but anxiously waiting for my next Kimani Romance, ESCAPE TO PARADISE. Here is what some readers have been saying about Niveah and Damien’s very steamy, very passionate love story:

Roniqua, (Houson, Texas) 5 STARS

This book starts off, Hott! As soon as you start reading you will be pulled in by the hotness from these two, Niveah and Damien. Honestly it will be hard to not feel it. Okay… Everything about this book is downright good! From the passionate scenes, to the exciting and intense build up, to the realistic characters and their journey to true happiness. You have a woman who lives and breathes her work. Feels that’s the only important thing her life. Her friends feel she needs to live a little, lighten up and have some fun. She does it and it is then she encounters a man who will rock her world and change her life! But… He doesn’t only rock her world in the bedroom, he rocks her world in the boardroom…

Whether you’re the uptight work-a-holic or the carefree out going one, or one of the persistent friends, you will indeed feel a connection with these characters. And that my friends is something you don’t find in many books.

If you are a fan of good romance novels, with GREAT story telling, realistic characters and situations, Promises We Make is definitely the book for you. Pamela does not disappoint! Two thumbs up!

Kendra St. John (El Cajon, California)

I just picked up your book. It was so good!! Please make a part two!! I’m sad and excited… sad because it ended and excited because it was the best book I read this year!! You’re a wonderful author and I wish you nothing but the best in the future.

C. Smith (West Palm Beach, Florida) 5 STARS

Niveah Evans is a creative director for an advertising agency who puts her work and job before anything else her idea of fun is staying home and watching TV or just chilling. Her friends Jeanette and Roxi feel she needs to get out and enjoy her life, she needs some excitement in it. Enter Damien Hunter who was at the bar at a New Year’s eve party they were attending. On a dare from her friends she sends him a drink an then approaches him an instant attraction takes place especially after they have a dance. He invites her to his hotel room to see where things might lead, and it leads after some convincing on Damien’s part to a night of passion and a morning of him finding hisself alone. It just so happen’s that these two end up competing for the same job, and it’s on from there. There are alot of twist and turn’s and a very enjoyable story. Pamela Yaye brings to light some intesting medical scenerio’s and show’s that there are good men out there who love’s and care’s about family above all else. I also love that she brought up to date from the Hollington serie’s what’s going on with Terrence and Kyra. I found this to be a very good and fast read. I recommend this book whole heartedly so enjoy. Cudos!!!

Diana Johnson, (Kansas City, Missouri)

What an excellent read! Niveah & Damien were smoking hot! The love scenes were great, just what I like. Niveah’s friends were a hoot. I loved their chemistry and the way the sparks flew!

Amari Howard, AMAZING! A MUST BUY! 5 STARS

Not only was this book amazing, it was fantastic. As a avid romance reader, this is one book that has captured and held my interest throughout the whole book so much so that I read this entire book in one sitting. Yaye creates a couple that is not only realistic but exciting and intense. I recommend this book to avid romance readers like myself not only because it is an amazing read but also because readers gain a connection with the characters including Niveah, Damien, Roxi and Jeanette. BUY THIS BOOK!It honestly is one of her greatest!

BEVERLY JACKSON, ROMANCE IN COLOR (4+ STARS): PLEASURE FOR TWO

Stung by her ex-husband’s betrayal, Dominique King has vowed to never again let a man play her for a fool. But everything changes when she meets gorgeous Marcel Benoit. With one glance, Dominique’s hooked, and this time she’s letting passion rule her heart.

REVIEW: There is no question that Dominique King and Marcel Benoit cannot resist each other, and the sexual chemistry between them is off the chain. But, can Dominique let her past go, and will Marcel have the patience and maturity not to overact to Dominique’s actions so they can take their relationship to the next level?

Dominique King is a sassy beauty with brains that exudes self-confidence, and is not afraid to strongly express her opinions. The independent nature she shows to the world is a self-defense mechanism to protect her heart, as she prides herself on being in control, and any man who crosses her will quickly learn it is her way or the highway. These traits were earned the hard way as the men who were important in her life have left her; her father dies and left her in charge of her family, and her ex-husband left her in dire financial straits. But, even the best laid plans can go awry, and when first lying eyes on Marcel Benoit, Dominique knows that all she has promised herself about not losing control of her emotions is going to face the biggest challenge of her life.

Gentlemanly, Marcel Benoit is drop-dead gorgeous with a sexy accent that leaves women drooling in his wake. While Marcel is blown away by Dominique’s beauty, it is her intelligence and drive that makes him want to get to know her better. But, their first conversation does not go well, as Dominique learns he is a struggling graduate student and not the owner of the luxurious home where he is hosting a party, and thus does not fit her profile as being dateable. Marcel wonders if she is just a gold digger and if he should leave her alone or he pursue what he feels in his heart.

Ms. Yaye’s new story just oozes sensuality, and the love scenes will not disappoint readers who like their stories with sizzling love scenes. The love scenes will be memorable not only for their intensity, but the venue of these sexy escapades. Ms Yaye must be complimented for allowing her imagination to pen these creatively sensual scenes.

This storyline also illustrates the point that if you focus on finding issues, you will, as there are several times in the story when both Dominique and Marcel almost sabotage their budding relationship, and each wonders if the relationship will make it to the next level. I enjoyed how Ms. Yaye showed, through her characters, how to accept the curves balls life will throw at you, but know that true love will accept you for the person you are.

PLEASURE FOR TWO takes place mainly in Seattle, but a trip to San Marco Island adds to the story’s romantic mood. Dominique and Marcel have a strong cast of supporting characters that provide advice, support and tension to keep the story lively.

The sexy Marcel Benoit has definitely earned his place among the other Kimani Hotties!

It’s never to late to say, Happy New Year, (at least in my book!) Escape to Paradise is due on March 1st and I have been writing furiously to get it done. I have been blessed with the cutest, funniest, sweetest little baby–who doesn’t nap, and needless to say I’ve fallen behind these last few months. So, for the next 30 days, I’ll be writing like a mad woman to get book 10 in on time. Pray for me! Ha, ha (No, serious, pray for me!)

Here’s my Romantic Times review for, Promises We Make. Enjoy!

PROMISES WE MAKE (4) by Pamela Yaye: Yaye does a good job of taking the familiar workplace romance storyline and adding her own unique twist, making this novel well worth the read. Niveah Evans is all about advancing her career, even at the risk of alienating herself from her family and the opposite sex. So it is completely out of character for her to have a one-night stand with a man she meets at a New Year’s Eve party. When Damien Hunter turns out to be her latest competition at work, Niveah has more to worry about than her pending promotion.

P.S. I’ll be running a Valentine’s Day contest on February 14th, so check back in a couple weeks for details. My Sweet Treats contest was a hit, and within an hour I had all 10 lucky winners. Hope you gals are all enjoying your books and chocolates!

This is what reviewer, Beverly Jackson, over at Romance in Color had to say about Marcel and Dominique’s very passionate, very romantic story:

REVIEW: PLEASURE FOR TWO (4+Stars) There is no question that Dominique King and Marcel Benoit cannot resist each other, and the sexual chemistry between them is off the chain.
