Back In Town…

March 20th, 2007

Talk about an experience! CBC put me up in The Renaissance Hotel, a lovely four-star hotel in downtown Toronto. I felt like a celebrity walking through the lobby, pulling my cute little suitcase. I arrived at the CBC Television studio bright and early on Saturday morning. After receiving name tags, and chatting with some of the other contestants, we were ushered upstairs to where we would eat lunch and mingle for an hour and a half.

I met some big names in writing, like Kayla Perrin, Eve Silver and Michelle Rowan. They are as funny as they are gracious. The taping started at 2pm and lasted for almost 4 hours. The questions weren’t as difficult as I thought they’d be, but I bombed the section on Canadian terms. What can I say? I guess I need to study up on Canadian expressions. But seriously, how many of you know what a “Blue noser” is? That’s what I thought…

Check back soon and I’ll let you know when the segment will air.

Much love,

Pamela

Test the Nation!

March 15th, 2007

More big news, people! I am going to Toronto to film a TV show! Yay me! The CBC program is an IQ test entitled, Test the Nation. I will be joining a panel of other Romance Writer’s and answering questions on everything from euphemisims to oxymorons to demonyms (I had to look this word up! Ha, ha). The show will tape on Saturday March 17, and will air sometime in the fall. I’ll keep you posted on dates and times. Wish me luck!
