PASSION OVERTIME (4.5) by Pamela Yaye: Yaye does a bang-up job of giving her characters depth as they struggle to give love a second chance in this emotionally fertile story. Kyra Dixon, the spunky, successful P.R. rep for her alma mater, Hollington College , must convince former NFL player Terrence Franklin to take the head football coaching position. But Terrence is her college sweetheart and the fiance who dumped her when he joined the NFL. Now that he realizes Kyra is the only woman who loved him for himself and not for what he could provide, he wants her back. Persistence and patience have Terrence realizing that Kyra was more affected by their breakup than he knew. What will happen when his past threatens to put a permanent wedge between them?
